Periodic Maintenance Procedures
Chain Guide Wear Inspection
• Remove    the engine sprocket cover (see Engine Sprocket
  Removal(11-10)).
• Visually inspect the chain guide [A].
  Replace the chain guide if it shows any signs of abnormal
    wear or damage.

Brakes
Brake System Inspection
Brake Fluid Leak (Brake Hose and Pipe) Inspection
•Remove the air cleaner housing (see Air Cleaner Housing
 Removal(3-54)).
•Apply the brake lever or pedal and inspect the brake fluid
 leak from the brake hoses [A], pipes [B] and fittings [C].
 If the brake fluid leaked from any position, inspect or re-
 place the problem part.
