Rear Shock Absorber
Rebound Damping Force Adjustment
• To adjust the rebound damping force, turn the lower
  damping adjuster [A] to the desired position, until you
  feel a click.
○The standard adjuster setting is the 1 3/4 turns out from
  the fully clockwise position.

Spring Preload Adjustment
• To adjust the spring preload, turn in the adjuster [A] until
  you fee a click to the desired position.
○The standard adjuster setting is the 1 click from the fully
  counterclockwise position.
  If the spring action feels too soft, adjust it.

Rear Shock Absorber Removal
• Raise the rear wheel off the ground with the center stand.
• [A]. the brake lever slowly and hold it with a band
  Squeeze

• Remove the fuel tank (see Fuel Tank Removal(3-56)).
