Tie-Rod, Rocker Arm
Tie-Rod Removal
• Remove

the brake lever slowly and hold it with a band
• Raise the rear wheel off the ground with the center stand.
• Tie-Rod Bolt and Nut (Upper) [A]
Remove:
Tie-Rod Bolt and Nut (Lower) [B]
Tie-Rod [C]
Tie-Rod Installation
• Apply grease to the inside of the grease seals.
• Install the tie-rod.
• Tighten: the tie-rod nuts with new ones.
Replace
•
Torque - Tie-Rod Nut (Upper): 35 N·m (3.6 kgf·m, 26 ft·lb)
Tie-Rod Nut (Lower): 50 N·m (5.1 kgf·m, 37 ft·lb)
