13-24 SUSPENSION
Rear Shock Absorber

• Squeeze
  [A].
          the brake lever slowly and hold it with a band

• Loosen:
   Rear Shock Absorber Nut and Bolt (Lower) [A]
   Rear Shock Absorber Bolt (Upper) [B]

• Raise the rear wheel off the ground with the jack.
 Special Tools - Jack Attachment [A]: 57001-1608
                 Jack [B]: 57001-1238

                        WARNING
 Be sure to hold the front brake when removing the
 shock absorber, or the motorcycle may fall over. It
 could cause an accident and injury.

• Remove:
   Spring Preload Adjuster Bolts [A] and Bracket
• Open  the clamps [B].
