Frame
Frame Inspection
• Visually
  warp.
           inspect the frame for cracks, dents, bending, or

○If there is any damage to the frame, replace it.
                          WARNING
  A repaired frame may fail in use, possibly causing
  an accident resulting in injury or death. If the frame
  is bent, dented, cracked, or warped, replace it.

Rear Frame Removal
• Remove:
   Side Cover (see Side Cover Removal(15-23))
   Rear Fender (see Flap and Rear Fender Removal(15
   -28))
   Grab Rail (see Grab Rail Removal(15-27))
   Rear Footpeg Brackets (see Rear Footpeg Bracket Re-
   moval(15-32))
   Bands [A]

• Remove the bolt [A].

• Open the clamp [A].
• Remove:
   Band [B]
   Rear Frame Bolts [C] (Both Sides)
   Rear Frame [D]

Rear Frame Installation
• Installation is the reverse of removal.
