Cylinder Head
Cylinder Head Removal
• Drain:
   Coolant (see Coolant Change in the Periodic Mainte-
     nance chapter)
•   Remove:
     Camshafts (see Camshaft Removal)
     Throttle Body Assy (see Throttle Body Assy Removal in
     the Fuel System (DFI) chapter)
     Exhaust Pipe (see Exhaust Pipe Removal)
     Timing Rotor (see Timing Rotor Removal in the Electrical
     System chapter)
     Engine Bracket (Both Sides) (see Engine Removal in the
     Engine Removal/Installation chapter)

• Loosen the water hose clamp screw[A].
• Water Hose [B]
  Disconnect:

• Slide the clamp [A].
• Air Bleeder Hose [B]
  Disconnect:

     Water Temperature Sensor Connector [C]

• Remove:
   Front Camshaft Chain Guide Bolts [A]
     Collar
     Front Camshaft Chain Guide [B]
     Rear Camshaft Chain Guide Bolt [C]
     Rear Camshaft Chain Guide [D]
