Fairings
Windshield Removal
• Remove:
   Bolts [A]
     Collars [B]
     Covers [C]
     Dampers [D]
     Grommets [E]
     Windshield [F]

Windshield Installation
• Installation in reverse of removal.
Upper Fairing Bracket Removal
• Remove:
   Upper Fairing (see Upper Fairing Removal(15-19))
     Coolant Reserve Tank (see Coolant Change(2-22))
     Regulator/Rectifier (see Regulator/Rectifier Removal(16
     -38))
     Canister Bracket (see Evaporative Emission Control
     System Inspection (Other than CA Model)(2-21))
     Bands [A]
•   Disconnect:
     Vehicle-down Sensor (see Vehicle-down Sensor Re-
     moval(17-50))
     IMU Connector (see IMU Removal(17-85))
     Outside Temperature Sensor Connector (see Outside
     Temperature Sensor Removal(16-113))
•   Remove the fuse box (1) [B] from the bracket.
•   Open the clamp [C].

• Remove  the fuse box (2) [A] from the bracket.
• Remove the
  Remove  the relays [B] from the brackets.
• Remove the connectors    [C] from the brackets.
• Open the clamp [E].
              bands  [D].
•

• Remove:
   Upper Fairing Bracket Bolts (M6) [A]
     Upper Fairing Bracket Bolts (M8) [B] and Washers [C]
     Upper Fairing Bracket Nuts [D]
     Upper Fairing Bracket [E]
